Well it's a good thing to admire Gods work....but I wouldn't be self consumed by it...

No, it's not. Being "self consumed" because you "admire God's work" is oxymoronic ... they're polar opposites. If you truly admire God's work, you'll admire ALL his creations: dandelions in the field, shooting stars in the night sky, and other people. Not just yourself.
