Waaaay too many to name. I have dozens of favorites. My current fav is "Crawling in the Dark" by Hoobastank, but there are many, many more great works out there.
And Creed stuff... particularly Weathered.
Nirvana was good, but "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is overrated. Ever hear Weird Al Yancovich's "Smells Like Nirvana?"

I think "Teen Spirit" by Nirvana was considered one of the best all time songs (rock/alternative).

I'd say.. Master of Puppets by Metallica. Every time I listen to it, it's a journey. It is very well composed, not some random thrashfest. It has slower parts, fast parts, and amazing solo's. I'd say Metallica in general is amazing. They have so much emotion in their songs. Great Band.

Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Ok, so my first attempt was cliche.
