I liked it right off, sounds like a ditty or part of a song.
I would end it with never made bail or never got bail.
Keep trying.
After you have forty or fifty of them you will be much better at it.

It sounds like you would be better off not bothering with the rhyming. Just work with the words and figrue out what you are trying to get accross, and do that.
