Supposedly, she went to see a taping of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" with tickets that also entitled her to see a dress rehersal of American Idol.
At the dress rehersal, she was so emotional that the producers porposely invited her to see the taping & sit near the front (so the cameras could find her).
Her name is Ashley and she's 13.

she must really like him and was overjoyed by his singing. Her emotions took over and she was happy.
