My 1st pregnancy in 2004 was a boy I felt great and was full of energy up until the very end. I even felt attractive. My hair got super shiny and my skin cleared up. I had a constant glow and didn't have to wear makeup most of the time. I told my husband if all pregnancies are like this I want to have 10 kids lol.
This pregnancy I am 23 weeks with a girl. I feel like crap. My body is so sore I feel like an 90 year old woman. I hurts to get up and down and all I want to do is sleep. My hair will not hold curl and it's not as shiny as it used to be. I am growing extra hair in places it shouldn't be and my face is breaking out and extra oily.
So all pregnancies are different. Have you heard of the old Wives tale that a girl steals your beauty? I belive it now.

Before I fell pregnant I didnt really think about how it would be, but when I got morning sickness at 5 weeks, that lasted through to about 7 months, along with high blood pressure I didnt think it could get much worse!
its one of those things that everyone experiences differently, and even for the same woman can be different each time...which is why people who've had bad experiences, go and do it all over again and again LoL
Regardless of how hard it can be - the end result is worth it :o)

I have a new found respect for any woman that has ever been or will be pregnant. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but I never dreamed it would be this hard. Having morning sickness for 16 weeks, sciatic nerve pain, not sleeping, swelling, heartburn and every other little thing that goes on during pregnancy is tough stuff. I just never imagined I would feel so bad. I am a tomboy at heart and not a sissy at all. I set my own finger once when I broke it for crying out loud and I will be honest, pregnancy is kicking my butt. LOL.
So yes worse than I thought, but still worth every minute.
37 weeks with my first.

Well, I've had some ups and downs. I had some problems in the beginning with spotting...and I'm now having to deal with problems with my blood pressure. But the truth is... I don't feel bad. I was never really sick. I've had to deal with a little nasal congestion...but other than that...not really. I could do without the leg cramps though.
Being pregnant is not a bunch of roses...but I know people who have been worse off then me. So I guess it's better than I thought it would be.
I'm 25 weeks and counting.

Everyone is different. Some women have very difficult pregnancies or are depressed or aren't in a good situation. Some women are in a great relationship and are just very happy to be expecting. That alone can make a difference on how you feel while carrying. I've had two children and they were completely opposite. My first one was great. No problems. My second one was bad. i developed a lot of problems and was depressed. It sounds to me like you are having a great pregnancy and that is super. Good luck with the new little one!

Pregnancy is great. Labor is hell. I did not have a good experience with labor, but don't worry. My doctor said what happened to me only happens to a few new moms. Like 1 in a 1,000. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat. I love my Madi more than anything in the world. Good luck and congrats!!!

I'm 29 weeks and haven't gone through morning sickness or any symptoms that were unbearable. I do have mood swings and have some breast soreness but my pregnancy has gone pretty smooth compared to a lot of my friends and family. Every pregnancy varies but in the end all the symptoms are worth it. :)
