under heat your body can create energy, and it speeds up reactions and enzymes, because naturally you move quicker when its 100 degrees, over 30 degrees...but at a certain level of heat your DNA and enyzymes begin to denature (sorry i cant gie you an exact degree)

It's a matter of degree (bad choice I know). Bahamas are a little bit warmer, Siberia is about 60-120 degrees colder than our body.
A more approproate question would be, do we prefer the Bahamas to a temperate forest at about the latitude of lower Canada. That would be equal moves in either direction of our core body temp.

I'm not sure if there is any scientifically based answer to your question, but from personal experience, I think that the heat makes a person relax and feel lazy, like how you feel by the beach. When you are in a cold place, your body cramps up and you shiver, which is not nearly as comfortable as feeling relaxed in the heat. However, it is still based on personal preference.

probably, in most humans, heat is better because some gland releases a chemical that makes us feel happy.
most likely this happened because when humans evolved, since humans that liked heat often survived and lived an easier life, which translated into more likely to reproduce
when they liked the cold, their existence was made more difficult by, well, the cold, because they would get sick more, freeze to death, etc

Well, I think it's because life evolved in Africa [if you support the theory of evolution] and we'd prefer to be closer to our native temperature....
However, I've noticed something inconsistent to the whole hot is better than cold idea...Try asking someone whether they'd prefer to burn to death, or freeze to death. Everyone I've asked would prefer freezing...

our normal body temp is 98.6 deg F so we like things close to that rather than farther from it
PS bahamas=fun
Siberia=not much

In the cold your bady shuts down and youi move slower. Our bodies funtion ar a higher temp. and it is easer to main that temp if it si warm out. Athough youi can die from heat, you will die in cold faster.
