The rules about you can only wear white between the first day of spring and Labour Day comes from the 1940's. This is the 21st century, where white or whatever colour you want when you want. The rules were for our grandmothers, not for us.

That rule doesn't apply anymore although I'm old enough to still give it second thoughts before I go ahead and wear white before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. With winter white you really don't have to think about it anyway. Thank goodness any color is a "go" anywhere, even red to a funeral!

It used to be from Easter until Labor day, but now people wear white anytime they want. I tend to keep white shoes and white handbags for summer though, because they get so dirty in the winter and spring.

White pants, yes you can wear them if you have good figure. Because if you are a little chubby they will not look good. White color makes you look biger. You have to wear white thong. and as somebody else mentioned not on your period. But you have to be in good figure to wear white pants, and maybe taned too a little bit.

well the rule was no white after labor day, but it isnt considered a rule at all anymore. You can wear white after labor day!

Whenever you want. But I'm pretty sure you have it right of when it's "okay" to wear white.

it would always go don't wear white after labor day but i don't think anyone listens to that it doesn't really matter wear it when u want
