Im not a big fan of american idol, in fact i dont even watch it, but i have friends that do and they are constantly talking about how they cant believe that sanjaya made it that far and i just finished reading another post about american idol and some of the replys said that sanjaya sings horrible. Does everyone hate him becuase hes foreign and he made it that far or becuase he really cant sing??

Plain and simple Sanjaya has little talent. You should listen to him "sing" and that is based on the fact I have good hearing. It is common knowledge that votefortheworst.com and Howard Stern fans are encouraged to vote for Sanjaya not because he has talent but because he doesn't. Even Sanjaya was surprised when he wasn't eliminated a week or so ago. It's too bad because he seems like a nice kid,but it is a singing competition (or at least it is supposed to be)

Sanjaya is wonderful because he does everything from the heart. People don't like him because he is charasmatic and eccentric, but really he represents exactly what American Idol is supposed to be about -- a 17 year old kid giving everything he has each and every week! He's got my vote!

I don't hate him because he's foreign, I hate him because he can't sing and he SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason he keeps making it is because of sites like votefortheworst.com and Howard Stern's big flapping blowhole, getting all his listeners to vote for Sanjaya.

Watch the show, , , he can't sing, should of never made it this far and baffles my mind how that even happened in the first place. Everybody is sick of him because he doesn't belong on the the show. Has nothing to do with his nationality, he just plain is a goofy kid who can't professionally sing and is in desparte need of a good hair cut!

It's honestly because he's not really that good. It has nothing to do with him being "foreign".
It's actually suprising though because in the auditions he was actually good, but ever since Hollywood week he's been getting worse and worse. This week he literally screamed his words. What he was doing is not considered singing.
And again, it is nothing personal against him. He just is not the best singer.

i hate him! omg .. the only reason why he made it this far is because ppl are voting for the worst ! ahhh its so annoying ! and now that he is in the top 10 .. he will be going on the american idol tour ugghh
