What is your opinion of killing this polar bear because he needed raised by humans?

Does this help , hinder or have nothing to do with the fact that the polar bear is being considered for placement of the Endangered Species List?

Animal-rights activist Frank Albrecht says "The zoo must kill the bear."

Albrecht's assertion prompted quick condemnations from the zoo, politicians and other animal-rights groups.

"The killing of an animal has nothing to do with animal protection," said Wolfgang Apel, head of the German Federation for the Protection of Animals.

I stated my opinion on the little fellow yesterday, evidently some one listened, and the nut case that originally said they should let him die instead of becoming humenised , maybe they can lock him or her up with the little fellows mother for a day or so.

This illustrates the typical Leftist mindset. On one hand they're screaming about saving the animals, yet when the zoo does everything it can to save this animal they're not happy with that either.

If the zoo had left the cub out in the open after being rejected by it's mother,... left it out to starve and DIE, then the SAME idiots would be screaming about THAT. If they had tried to euthanize it, they would be screaming about THAT. The ONLY thing that they DON'T scream about are the things THEY "think of". It's GOT to be THEIR IDEA for it to be an acceptable idea.

They are idealistic mental midgets who live in a very small world.

One person does not represent all animal rights activists. Sure, it's cute, but is that the only reason determining people's decisions? What if it were an alligator or a shark or a fish? Sharks are endangered plenty.
