I saw a teen boy the other day who looked SO much like someone I knew less than a year ago, but back then he was really small...like he was a couple of grades younger than he was, and now he's way taller than me!

At around age 14 or 15 they hit this crazy growth spurt. They eat everything in sight, and it seems like overnight they are totally different. Their voices change, they start growing facial hair, some of them even become more responsible. It might have been the same person if he was in that age range.

From the age of 14 to like 16 I went from being shorter then my Mom to being taller then my Dad. Eating habits...I was the teenage vacuum... When my two male cousins and me would get together like say at a barbecue or something, we could each eat at least 2 hamburgers and the sides.

When I was in middle school (this was a while back) there was this very chubby boy in my class. He was short and round. Then, when school started in the fall he was about 5 inches taller and thin! Boys do grow like weeds!

Boys grow at different ages and some start as young as ten others don't really start growing until mid to late teens but one things for sure, no matter how big a boy gets in size if he don't grow in his spiritual or emotional stage he is still a little boy. Boys and girls grow in this way. God has stages of development for each of us. Some young people grow slower then others but one thing is for sure, Growth is measured not so much in the phsyical sense but more in the level of maturity.

I had a friend of mine in high school do that. He was quite a bit shorter than me and when I saw him when school started again he was a few inches taller than I was! I was like, wow, you grew!! Weird I know!

Pretty damn fast!
One year, my brother had this huge growth spurt at around age 13, and I could have sworn that he'd grown a full foot! It doesn't happen much to girls. I don't remember having one large growth spurt like that.....I grew slowly :(

the grow in spurts! and yes, you can look ata kid at age 12, and then at age 13 he is 4 inches taller. just part of the male hormones!
