Whether or not the Universe is finite is more complex than you represent. The Universe that we can know, that is, the part of the Universe within our event horizon, is finite, and will always be finite. As the expansion due to Dark Energy proceeds, the amount of material within our event horizon may decrease with time. At present, however, the amount of material within our event horizon is increasing, and every day we see more material that we could not have known about yesterday. This suggests that the Universe is certainly bigger than our event horizon, and theories of "early inflation" indicate that it may be *much* *much* bigger. In terms of our admittedly incomplete theories of physics, we expect that the fundamental laws of physics change at distances about 10^21 lightyears, a size far larger than our event horizon. Beyond that, we do not know, although there really is no reason to expect that the Universe is finite, and some reason to expect it may be infinite (try googling "continuous eternal inflation"). In any case, the Universe is arranged so that we will never know for sure.

By saying "end the end" I can only assume that you are asking in turn, what it would take to prevent something you have just acknowledge as being inevitable.(Mathew 24:14) We as mortal mankind haven't even the ability to fix the most detrimental ecosystem upsets that we create, (global warming etc.) much less anything greater. So no, it is not possible.

Nope, the universe is never ending and even when it expands, and begins at nothing again , it will always start again, there can be no end to an end only a beggining to an end!

The end is what makes life so beautiful if nothing ever ended we would never be able to think about how great it was

If everything has an end, any attempts to eliminate this end will be futile and will be followed by the ending of the rebellious individual.

We can not end something we did not set into motion, and the things you mention don't end.you can distance your knowledge of them but they continue long after you may go.You might have desire for them to stay as they are with you in a set time but even then you would grow old and become distant again, they become new again to the next generations. and your legacy remains a part with them.

"For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith The Lord; Thoughts of Peace and Not of Evil, to give you an expected end." Jer. 29:11

Our "expected end" is our "beginning" with Him, "eternity".
