Yes, unequivocally, regardless of the role - even in the movies I love that he is in, including among them Rat Race and Love Actually.

Agreed! I couldn't agree more! People talk about him like he's this comic genius and all I can do is roll my eyes! If I had to choose between watching Mr. Bean or watching my dog lick her own butt, I pick the dog!
I usually love British comedy but Mr. Bean just doesn't cut it. Of course, I haven't quite understood why so many like Will Farrell either.

The original Mr. Bean episodes are hilarious. I've only seen 1 of his more recent movies...one that's like 10 yrs old, give or take...and it wasn't as funny. But I laugh my butt off over the originals.

Mr. Bean is just "a child in a grown man's body" and is for entertainment only. Therefore, he's not stupid.

no, i dont. its just a differant sense of humor than most americans are used to. i grew up on british tv, even though i live in wisconsin. my dad loved monty python, and i thought it was highlarious, so i went out and found more stuff, including bean, that i love.

At first i thought his t.v. shows were funny but I quickly grew out of it and yeah, he's pretty much annoying to me now.
