I am officer in a club for 2 years now, and this club built city floats and won trophies. I played football and now am doing track. I have won awards in football and track. I'm not going to play football next year, but maybe senior year. I will run track next year though. I also have about 80 community service hours, where I volunteered cleaning in the mountains and where I built these floats. I am running for an ASB position and I think I will make it. I have taken 1 honors course, and I will probably take 1-3 AP classes next year and honors pre-calculus. I will also work and take summer school this summer. Where should I go to college?Would USAFA or West Point accept me? Any suggestions?

Short of a college counselor coming on Yahoo Answers to give you free advice, all that info doesn't help us very much. What I see is that you have a pretty good GPA in general, and extracurriculars that you can talk about in essays and on college resumes. That says to me that you will be able to have a lot of realistic options for college choices.

However, you neglected to mention the important part. What is it you WANT out of college? Is the armed forces of prime importance to you, or could you do ROTC during college while majoring in something else? Do you want an urban, suburban, or rural environment? How close from home would you be comfortable living? These are all questions that you need to answer yourself, and then do research to find the place that you fall in love with.

Where are you from? If you have a really good state school( like Michigan or Berkley) you could save a lot of money and go there. How were your test scores? Us News has rankings of schools that might give you a better idea of what kind of schools you would be able to attend.

Try a website like www.petersons.com....this is a website where you can sort colleges by location/major etc.
