okay. for a basketball game we were riding the bus to a different school. and my best friend in the whole world said "you are gonna have to fight with Alicia on who gets to sit by me." and shouldnt i get to sit by her i mean weve been bes friends sinse kindergarden. why doesnt she wanna sit by me????

Although you may be best friends with her, there is a chance that she wants to sit with her other friend as well. Sometimes when you're friends for so long, the need for always being together becomes daunting. Plus, it may be that she wants to include her other friend in with her BECAUSE you're best friends. Maybe she feels that by letting the other friend sit by her she won't be tempted to exclude her since you're so close to one another. There could be several reasons why she wanted to sit next to her other friend, but the important thing to remember is if you are trully best friends, something as insignificant as where you're sitting shouldn't be a big deal in the long run.

You best friend flatters herself too much. It's too bad, I'm sure it hurts for your best friend since Kindergarten to turn on you like that, but the best thing you can do is give her some space. Just say, "okay, fine, whatever" and let her be the first to say something to you. She owes you an apology.

My thought is that all involved ought to try and grow up a little. I don't know how old you are but I'm assuming it is over 6 years old. If so, quit being a bunch of babies.
