Only if "tea" stands for Thoughtless, but Evolving(??) Adolescence. Hanging around the airports, sneaking into hotels, screaming so loud during the performances no one could hear the music. For a while it was like the Brits had invaded Amercian teenage girls brains.

You would have no trouble believing that if you had ever seen the stupid "Beetle Wig" Hat the girls were wearing in the winter of 1963-64

Ohhh nooo.....It was the BEST TIME ever!!!

It started with the Beatles when they first came here and led the way in February 1964 and then there were the Rolling Stones and the Kinks and the Animals and Herman's Hermits
and Gerry and the Pacemakers (also from Liverpool) as well as Peter and Gordon and Chad and Jeremy and Cilla Black and Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas and the Yarbirds, etc
......and they didn't come to TAKE, they came to SHARE all of their wonderful music w/
us over here in the States and for Baby boomers like me, it was the most wonderful time ever, esp in 1964-1965.....and I will always cherish ALL of the wonderful music and memories
of that time....I am sooo grateful that I got to grow up when I did....The only thing better is if I could have BEEN in England at the time....Maybe I could have met John and Paul....and gone to Liverpool......sigh....

My Grandfather was killed by a Limey during the British Invasion, I'll have you know. He got high on the bad acid at an Animals Concert, threw up on a go-go girl, got into a fist fight with a dude named 'Ringo' and then a speaker fell on him.

Your question was in very poor taste.

No, because Simon Cowell said that tea 'sucked' and was 'over the top' so they just drank coffee that one time.
