The semi-colon, no... the possessive apostrophe, yes. Actually, I make jokes about semi-colons...
My twelve year old neice keeps talking about how she's going to start her period soon, and I keep telling her it won't happen until after she gets her semi-colon. It confuses her, but it's still fun.

I get along fine w/ the semi-colon, though I may not always use it properly,....
but that damned possessive apostrophe DOES vex me!
Some say it IS others say it AIN'T the way to go,.. I just don't know!
