A quarterback who makes good, fast, smart decisions, preferably in the "two-minute-drill"; a quarterback who you know that when there is little time on the clock, and you need someone who can get you into a scoring position, and you have no doubt about it, he can get it done.

See: Montana, Joe

Cheers!

The quarterback that can make plays when they count. And the quarterback you want leading your football team late in the game if you need to score.

The prime example in the NFL right now would be Tom Brady. The guy can consistently execute the 2 minute drill better than anybody else in the league, especially when the team needs it the most. The three Superbowl rings he has is proof enough that he can come through for his team when it counts.

A clutch QB is a QB that can lead a team w/ little team left and they're losin, and the QB makes a comeback.
Perfect Example- John Elway, led the Broncos 98 YARDS with a little over a minute to go in the AFC Championship. and drove them down the field to overtime where the Broncos won it. And it's a living fact that Elway had the most comebacks in NFL history, NOT JOE MONTANA!

Someone like Matt Leinart, who can complete a pass for seventeen yards, fourth down, on own 17 and 15 to go , and go on to score. Of course it helps to have Jarrett to throw too.
