5^3=125, and 3^-2= 1/9, so it would be 125 +1/9.

4^3 is 64, and 3^4 is 81. 64+81= 145. 145^-3= ?

I suggest using a scientfic or graphing calculator for this!

this is not clear.

if you mean 5^3 + 3^-2 where the ^ means the next number is an exponent

then
5^3 = 5x5x5 = 125
3^ -2 = 1/(3x3) = 1/9

5^3 + 3^-2 = 125 1/9

2.
4^3 + 3^4

4^3 = 4x4x4 = 16x4 = 64
3^4 = 3x3x3x3 = 9x9 = 81

4^3 + 3^4 = 64 + 81 = 145

(4^3 + 3^4)^-3 = 1/(145*145*145)

Your negative exponent needs to be turned in to a fraction... 3^ -2 would become 1/3^2 (one over 3 squared) or 1/9 (one-ninth).
