My wife's ex wants to take our 13 year old son (my stepson) to a Tool concert. We looked up some of their lyrics and don't think he is old enough. Needless to say he's not happy. What are your thoughts and opinions.

If you've ever seen a TOOL music video, you can expect the concert to be similar, I went to a TOOL concert about 5 years ago, and thought it was awsome, however, I wouldn't take my 13 year old brother. Their concerts are very graphic and mature. Intended for an older audience.

maybe you should ask a neighbor that has a son the same age and see. if your son is immature, he shouldn't go because, he'll blurt it out to the kids at school and when you're driving home from the concert. if he is mature, he should be good enough to go. i hope this helps!

i think that a concert is a perfect way of bonding. maybe you
should even go too. because concerts are something you're
going to remember your whole life. they're pretty special. and
if an adult's going, then i think it should be okay, he's growing
up. well, good luck.

Let him do what he wants. He`s not a baby. If he listenes to it already it doesn`t matter. He`ll eventually hear it anyway.
