padlock picking?

my padlock got stuck on my travel suitcase. is it really possible to make a shim out of a tin can, and does it really work?. if so how. got any easier ways to pick a masterlok padlock wthout buying a kit ?

Het a masterkey, (large bolt cutters) They work great, on any padlock!

a hair pin jamed in the locking side after you find the last #, by spining the dial while pulling on the shackle...... jam in the hair pin & hit the shacke with a hammer... may open
