Political parties arre pointless! Cant we just unite together as George Washington said? He warned us about this.

It's unrealistic to think that people can unite as one without compromise. Political parties are nothing more than a compromise between many different ways of thinking and how "majority rules" can be achieved peacefully.
Without parties we'd kill each other.

Unite together, sure, keep believing that. We need more than one party , keeps the other party from turning us into a communist country. Besides, why listen to a dead man, Washington been dead for ages, noticed even the wearing apparel has changed.
