Better! Next time, invade, do the job, get out!

We don't owe them to rebuild their nation. They attempted to assassinate our President. They tolerated a criminal as their dictator by letting him terrorize them into silence, or bribe them into support.

Enough nation building. Next time, don't do it.

The Americans, instead of realizing that this is as bad as World War Two, or even worse, are going to pull out of Iraq, handing it over to Iran on a silver platter. Next may come the Saudis and the rest of the Gulf states. When dirty bombs go off all over Western towns, who is going to stop the Iranians?..

I think Hizbullah will attack again as soon as they are fully re-equipped and I think it will be during the summer, while Israel is still in a military and political turmoil. This time you will have to destroy Hizbullah no matter what the cost may be…

I think there are two ways to avoid this Armageddon. One can be a major war which the West can win… Eventually, the West will have to tackle the Iranians, it is better that they do it now to avert a world catastrophe later. With Iran defeated the Islamic onslaught will lose its base, and it may be the turning point in history to defeat the menace of extreme Islam. The majority of the Moslems don’t want this confrontation anyway…

Alternatively, all the West has to do is follow Putin’s ways. He assassinates his enemies without blinking an eye. Assassinate the four or five Mullahs who run the show, Ahmadinejad and a few more Iranian fanatics, and the War can be avoided. It may be difficult to do, but not impossible. With today’s hi-tech technology I am sure that new weapons against individuals are being prepared right now. I think it would be a better way of handling the matter than an all-out war against Islam.”

mckenziecalhoun --
Let's see. You invaded a country under false pretenses. This country was of no danger to the USA, the talk of WMD was a lie, the talk of al Queda being harboured by Iraq was a lie, the search for terrorists was a lie, 9/11 deaths were ignored except by talk, you are not nation building - you are nation destroying.

You, of the USA, should put,at least, the amount of money you used to destroy a nation into its rebuilding after the civil war, you created. And please don't tell me you went to Iraq to free a nation. You backed Saddam, in their war against Iran and the Kurds. And went in on false pretenses of WMD being there that your country knew was untrue, at a time when you were supposed to be searching out al Queda, that your government knew was not true. You back stabbed, Saddam who we all knew was a tyrant, who you backed before on a war with Iran and the Kurds - when he used chemical weapons against both, making no mention of it or protesting to the UN until way beyond the use. The US may be rich but these action are inhumane and war crimes.

Mr Bellows -- spoken like a true - who cares what you think, red neck.

jeeper_peeper321 you. obviously haven't paid attention. Do you really think that the Republicans would, lay back in shame, to not vigorously complain about that?

Ivri_Anokhi -- so you are fighting in a small country - Iraq - and you say it is worse than WWII. You. obviuosly are a man of religion and you make quite ignorant comments like that !!!

Dip poo - Hezbola has never attacted the US.

OK, now we are going to not have Armagedon if we have a world war and THEN take on Islam! You are a bit of a nut.

So from your post, i would assume you think the security guards at your bank and walmart are mercenaries ?

I always thought mercenaries were soldiers for hire to carry out military operations.

If you have proof that the US has hired civilans to carry out military operations in Iraq,

We would all love to see it.

I don't have a problem with contractors doing work in Iraq hiring security guards to protect thier workers and cannot imagine why anyone would .

And i sure don't remember anyone critising Clinton for the security guards the contractors hired in Bosnia or Kosavo.

i think that any baby-kisser who votes for a conflict might desire to discover their toddlers eligible to be drafted. that's not honest to their toddlers, of direction, whether it would be the ultimate ingredient, even even though it would be blatantly unconstitutuional and unfair to the youngsters. that could be slightly-generic certainty that McCain's son is serving in Iraq. The media has been very, very honorable in preserving this certainty a secret. yet... i'm unsure that having Bush's offspring serving in Iraq could be a solid ingredient, usual. God bless George Bush and his family individuals, yet his daughters are actually not the sharpest knives interior the container...

The real reason of GW bush's statements and war against Iraq is that he wants to guarantee Israel security destroying all the countries that endanger Israel, such as Iraq an Iran.

The military existence in Iraq is necessary for Israeli security, even thousands of Americans die there

Or better yet, ask our allies to send more troops. Why do we have more troops there then the rest of the coalition? Maybe our allies are smarter than we are and don't want to be bogged down in a stupid war

If your talking about companies like Blackwater, they aren't fighting, they are providing security for dignitaries, and convoys. The only time they fight is to defend themselves. These companies are considered civilian armed militia and are contracted for the above reason. Blackwater has also been contracted to provide training for Iraqi police and defense force, as well as to provide U.S. military personnel with tactical training such as with the Navy for ship boarding and search parties. The military contracts these companies cause they are mainly made up of former military special forces that have intensive training in such tactics.
