Forever, it the marriage is good. She's going through alot right now with hormones elevated up to 13 times normal. Give her some slack if you love her....buy the book, "the pause"and it will help you understand what is going on. Now, on the other side of menopause...you may have a wild women on your hands and you may be writing in asking what to do about your oversexed wife....you just never know what will happen with a womens' body.

You poor thing. In a marriage there are no time limits for anything when menopause is involved. Some women lose the desire, others are simply too wired to enjoy it. Find out which is the case with your wife and tackle it together.
An open attempt to understand and help, without pushing toward the bed, will get you plenty brownie points!!!!!

Without any sex at all? We've had some 10 day dry spells here and there, sometimes almost a full 2 weeks. During those times, I get pretty cranky... Sex is very important to me and I made that clear when we met. Without satisfying sex? Going on three years and the divorce is getting closer by the minute. You can only ask for what you want so many times and get rejected before deciding it's time to throw in the towel. The only place I like vanilla is in my ice cream....'nuff said.

If it's your menopause, then it doesn't matter. Men usually go into quite a depression and a funk.
For women, sex even at this time is really important - to keep things "going", to get the hormones running, to make her still feel beautiful and special. Neither of you needs to abstain.

Dude, I feel your pain. I think we've fallen into a 1x every 5 weeks pattern. Every now and then, I complain and get a "sympathy F" after about 3 weeks, but that gets lame, too. I told her I'm all about "monogomy" but not "celibacy." Although, it helps that she wears big heavy pajamas and dresses/undresses in the other room or in the dark, so there ain't much to turn me on anyway, you know? Hopefully, it'll come back when this is over!

She still should be willing to satisfy you in other ways sexually.
(Regardless of menopause)

That entirely depends on the health of your wife. If she is ill, one waits until she is well.
