Why is my 4 week old hamster losing its fur?

MY hamsters were born about 4 or 5 weeks ago. After 3 or 4 weeks, its fur strted to fall. (I live in California and it is spring right now)

They could be shedding, also some rodents use their own fur to build their nests, at least moles do.
