well I just spent 2 whole weeks there and I was NOT in a resort awesome don't be afraid of travelling ,be carefull as you would anywhere.spend your money where the Jamaicans actually benefit...buy from there little shops..I hear Kingston and Mo bay is having some crime issues,but be wise and enjoy the people.they..are beautiful... The jamaican people do not benefit from the resorts,and they should not be feared as they would have you to believe....if you are on a resort ..don't be afraid to have a look see at the 'real world'..and spend you money there....enjoy!! yes many people who win on the wheel of fortune go there! there are lots of drug dealers, food is poison, and the violence is horrid! you never see the violence on tv! there are terrorists, also, who hate americans and want to kidnapthem for ransom! one more thing! they commit fraud on internet system promising money in phony lotteries! botttom line: jamaica is **** as a nation and anyone who g oes is a damn fool! there is lots to do in america! why would any idiot go there?
