When someone you love deeply is moving on, it's always difficult. First and foremost, you have every right to take as much time as you need to deal with the feeling of loss. Don't let anyone make you feel you have a time limit on grieving for a love gone.

Secondly, it's going to take time, maybe lots of time. Just don't expect that after a month you're going to be your old self again. Don't place expectations on your feelings or you'll never have full closure. Maybe even doing something you enjoy, will seem like a difficult task since most will remind you of your love.

It's always best to talk to others who can empathize with what you're going through. I'm not talking about those that just say the same old things, like "I'm so sorry" or "I know it's difficult". Instead, find those who have dealt with such a loss and take their advice on how they were able to manage. Eventually, the pain will dissipate, but it will take your own time and lots of tears and hugs. Good luck to you. :)

Spend time with him before he leaves, and dont loose touch when he does move. Also, dont dwell over him, as someone once told me "Theres other fishes in the sea" It seems hard to get over now, I've been there done that but you do get over it. Time is the best healer, dont shut up self out on the world, spend time with her friends and pick up a new hobby or something to help make the time go faster-so your mind isnt dwelling.

There's nothing you can do to really accept the fact that he's leaving, you just have to deal with it.
Its going to be difficult when he leaves. You will hurt for a while but you need to keep yourself busy. In time you will feel better.

Time...the only way possible to deal with something is time.

But hey, moving doesn't make someone gone, just easier to miss. : )
