I am about to take a trip back to New England on Friday and have lost my suitcase.

Luck be a lady - I found one in a dumpster last night! Even had past tax info in a pocket (which I will return to the owner, honest).

Not the pocket - but the tax info.

Also have found End Tables, Tables, Chairs and other (good) stuff just laying there. Will always keep my eyes wide open!

No but I do leave some of my old trash things out by the dumpster so if others can find any use for it then they don't have to dive in for it, because it is usually in fine shape I just have no use for it and move out of state so I don't have time to find to local donation drop off center.

Well, not literally from inside a dumpster but, picking up stuff off the side of the road? Heck yes! I'm sitting on a wonderfully comfy leather desk chair rt now that a neighbor threw out. :-)

Me and my buddy used to go dumpster diving behind the FritoLay distribution plant. We'd get all the week old chips you could shake a fat stick at!! Good times! Good times!

Ohmigod True story....... I live in a really small town in Iowa and we have a "Village Idoit" He goes around town looking in people trash and take junk out, one day i herd noises comming from the dumpster area in my apartment complex so i go and look out the window and here is this guy picking out junk - styrofoam cup, pen, broken cassette tape. He also goes down the the pronto station with his lil red wagon and buys all their juice (the kind they put in milk jugs) then hauls it across town back to his house, he also pushes a shopping cart picking up compost around town and puts it in his back yard.

no but i saw a crazy lady that lived in the dumpster with a shoping cart
on trash day she would run from place to place going through the garbage in front of drug stores and grocery stores
here clothes were made of garbage and her shoes were empty bottles
she had a lot of different pairs of shoes
i still see her around
