I like to watch a show called Lost. It's on at nine in the night on the day that falls on the half mark of the week. That would be this day. So it must be on soon. It's grand and leaves you on the edge of your seat. You can't watch just one show. You will want more, no doubt.
All one syllable words. Just be creative and use a thesaurus. 500 words is only about a page typed in single space.

Have fun with this. You could have lots of tales in one. Just start writing and if your think of a multi syllable word stay on it and find a one S for it.

Use a thesaurus to help you out so you can see more options. It shouldn't be too hard. Just writing this, I've used quite a bit one syllable words.

That's a pretty tough assignment. You should be able to figure out which words are one syllable. Don't try to make it too complex (under those situations, it can't be)
The whole assignment is supposed to be a test of your ability to creatively use vocabulary and structure under pressure.

Each stress you make in a word is a syllable.
The word "word" is one syllable, but the word "syllable" is three syllables.
"To end this task is tough."
Now you only need 494 more one-syllable words!

Make sure you have a proper theme, and use a dictionary. Also, poems are a good reference cuz most words are one syllable. Im sure he was just seeing who would put more thought into something than not. Good luck seems hard!

An example of a one syllable word would be the, and, we, to, bike, toy, house, phone, cup, book. It's basically how many times you break when saying the word.

You probably have to think "picture books." What makes them so easy? By their own, one easy syllable words. Here, I'll try to give a sentence:
I like pie. Pie is good. Do you like pie? I know I do.
It'd probably be easier if you can blab about everything too =) good luck.

Did he give you a topic? Does it have to be well written or does he just want to see if you can do it, if so, start out like............I like peas, I like pie, I like fruit, chips and wine. I eat food to live each day, some foods make me stay away. I don't care for fries that much. They have fat in them and that is gross. I work out to stay in shape, I wish my dad would do the same.
Lol, OK, is that corny? I hope he assigned a topic
