DEFINITELY.....and the person tries to cover up by saying that
they are just kidding....
Many a true word spoken in jest.....
And Jesus Himself put it this way,
OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART, THE MOUTH SPEAKS.....
The truth is always there "just under the surface" and it will either come out as a "joke" or out of anger and stress when someone is provoked to such a point that they just say what is really on their mind and has been for a long time, maybe out of alot of pain and hurt that they have felt or just alot of anger and jealousy or whatever....

There is a lot more than just SOME truth to the things people "jokingly" say. Satire is the most effective form of delivering a message. That applies to great works of art written under strict dictators AS WELL AS your friends poking fun of you on a Saturday night and saying "just kidding". Both utilize humor as way of masking the real message underneath, or the truth.

Sometimes it seems that "just kidding" is a bad attempt at correcting something that was said too quickly. And yes, sometimes there's definitely some truth to it.

Yeah I definetly think so. Like if someone says something that is totally rude and you take offence to it, I think that they relize that you didn't think that that was funny, and so they'll say "Just kidding!" Thinking that you will no tbe mad at them. I know that when I say something stupid, I'll say just kidding, just so that I don't hurt the other persons feelings accidentaly.
So yeah... I think that some people tell the truth when they say that they are Just Kidding! :)

Yes. Sometimes u can't help that a sarcastic, funny or inappropriate response comes into ur mind after reading a Q. But, u don't want to be insensitive and say it in a serious way.

Not always...when I use that "just kidding" it's because I really am just kidding...I f I read what I wrote and thought the questioneer might get hurt because of my sarcastic wit? I will add that to make sure they know it is just my twisted mind at work and no reflection on them....

Not always, but a good ammount of the time. There's a saying, "A lot of truth is said in jest" and it's true.
