okay i bought some shoes today and when i come home my sister kept saying i'm a poser. i don't even know what shoes are skate shoes or not. cus i don't know anything about that. and i asked her why she kept calling me a poser shes like cus you don't even skate but you bought skater shoes..do you think that people who wear skate shoes are posers if they don't skate? lol i'm kinda confused 0_o

No don't worry about it, skater shoes are in right now so you'll look fine.
Besides as long as you like them and think they are comfortable than why should anyone else's opinion matter.

I have never set foot on a skateboard and am quite the girly girl and all I wear is skate shoes
I haven't gotten any negative comments
I hang out with my cousin and all his skater friends and they don't say anything either

I have 2 pairs of etnies and Im not a skater o_O
I just buy them because they are comfortable
don't listen to her.
its not like u intentionally bought them to look as though you are a skater.

that is so not true! there are TONS of people who wear vans, etnies, DC, etc and they dont skate. now "skate shoes" aren't just skate shoes anymore. they're for everyone!

they are for skaters, but you can wear them even though you don't skate, it is like basketball shoes, you don't have to play ball to buy them, don't worry bout her, i have vans, i have dc's 2 pair, love them to death, they are so comfortable, i do skateboard and they do help with support for the board, but they hot no matter what you do.

I have 2 pairs of DCs and I skate. (not that much tho>) Some people are posers but I don't think you are. Because u hardly no wat she is talking about.

it says interior the define that it will help with your board... which doesnt necesserilly mean you have t skate to placed on them. they seem to be generic shoes i mean identity placed on them even while im not skating.
