No need to listen to the first post; if you have good service with Sprint, that is all that matters.

Sprint has the Motorola RAZR (in the standard grey or in red).

I don't know how much cash you have to spend on a phone, but if you might enjoy the Samsung M610. It has a small OLED screen on the outside for caller ID purposes (which will save you in battery life), a memory card slot (for adding music), a beautiful high resolution screen (240x320. Better than the RAZR), 2 Megapixel Camera for great looking pictures, and it's thinner than the RAZR or Katana.

Your friend will envy you.

But if you can't get that, a Sprint RAZR or Samsung A900M would do well. Keep in mind that slim phones typically have lower battery life (from what I heard, the M610 fairs pretty well).

Good luck!

Sprint Stinks! Those are two words that hold so many problems. I would go with Verizon Wireless. Plus, the Katana is a wannabee Razr. When we had Sprint, my daughter had the Katana and she kept having problems with it. Turns out, that Sprint gave us a used phone!! :-( those are the last days we spent with Sprint
