It depends on what you were convicted of. If you were convicted of embezzlement, you probably won't find a job where you handle any money. Drug related conviction, you may have to submit to drug tests on a regular basis. It also depends on the company itself. A felony conviction makes it harder to find a decent job, but doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Do you have any education post release? Education opens doors that would otherwise remain shut if you don't have any college experience at all. It distracts from the conviction.
