sometimes if the person really looks like they need it and it will help them out then sure

Yes, I do.
And if I can't think of a compliment toward the person, I'll say I like something they're wearing. It always seems to do the trick.

yes. It makes them feel a little bit better about themsleves, and they might just deserve a nice little compliment!
