Imagine that you have been given unlimited resources to study any aspect of psychology that interests you. What area would you choose to study? What question(s) would you want to answer? How would you design a study to address these questions? Include in your response your hypothesis, experimental design, and your projected outcomes. What limitations can you expect from your research design?

I'm still developing my thoughts on these questions before I decide to apply to Ph.D. programs. I'll answer as far as I can.

--Developmental Psychology and/or Positive Psychology
--Prevention Research

Here's one idea: What role does early and mid-childhood physical activity levels (and maybe diet too?) play in the developmental trajectories of mood disorders, behavioral problems and/or ADHD?

The design would probably be cross-sectional or longitudinal. My hypothesis would probably be that activity levels are inversely related to the incidence of certain behavioral, mood or attention disorders. Aaaaand there may already be research on this. I've been meaning to go check into it.

i would want to learn how to not be sad.
i know there probably is a cure.
but i would want to find a cure to heartbreak.
sorry this isnt really that knowledgable of an answer, but wouldnt it be amazing to stop heartbreak for yourself and everyone?
