I'm not bleeding like a normal period, it's just a few spots when I wipe. I'm don't want to stress if it's not a big deal, should I be worried?

This is probably nothing. I bled now and then, typically when I was stressed or around something I'm allergic to (latex gloves were the worst).

Check out the info on babycenter.com - I'm sure they've got some. Pick up a copy of Your Pregnancy Week to Week, it kept me somewhat sane.

If however you're really worried, talk with your doctor. If it is bad-news type bleeding, then there's nothing they can do about it. However, they can be reassuring. It happens to many pregnant women, and doesn't mean anything is wrong.

I had slight bleeding when I was expecting all three of my children. Though it always happened around 5 months not weeks. During the first trimester, I don't think bleeding is good. I wouldn't stress too much as long as it's very light. Be sure to call the OB in the morning just in case. Good Luck.

I am also 5 weeks pregant and bleeding very lightly for the 7 last days went to the doctor and things look ok although he said that if I am having a miscarriage there is nothing that the MD's can do. I need to go back next week for another blood work so that he can check the hormonal count and do another ultrasound. I just keep thinking possitive. You should call your doctor and have them do the blood test to make sure that you are ok. They have to do 2 blood test to compare them. Hope everything is ok my prayers are with you.

If there are just several spots of blood when you wipe then that is fine. What you are experiencing is spotting and is common among pregnancies. So there is no need to worry. If the bleeding becomes heavy then you can check with your doctor.

Call your doctor and get checked to be sure, but most likely it is the small amount of spotting that can occur when the egg plants to the uterine wall. It is very common, usually about 6 weeks (it happened with both of my pregancies). Still get it checked though - especially if it becomes heavier or you experience cramping.

Keep track of the bleeding (ex: color, quantity).
If you start getting cramps and bleeding heavily go to the ER.
No bleeding during pregnancy is normal but some don't always mean you are loosing the baby.

*good luck honey*

Don't worry yourself over it. But do contact your OB/GYN and let him/her check you out just to be sure its nothing. I know people who have gone the whole 9 months and still had a period. And had healthy babies. So its poosible to bleed without having complications.

Oh Dear. I would get to the er right away. This could be nothing, but it could be something. I have a gf that had that during her first pregnancy, and they checked her and she had no blood in her cervix. So it was nothing to worry about, but unfortunatly it could be a sign of a m/c. Go see the doctor right away, Good Luck
