It just sounds like you've overworked your muscles. The same thing happened to me when I started working out again. They just need a 1-3 day break. Never work your muscles for too long without a break or you can actually scar and tear them. If they don't feel better after that, check in with your doctor about your symptoms as this could be a sign of muscle cramping, a form of arthritis, or something else. Also make sure you're taking some form of protein after your workouts. This will help you build back up the muscles you damage during the workout and help you build more muscle, which will make working out easier as you build endurance and strength.

Hello! I am 31 weeks pregnant, and first of all let me say I am so sorry and I feel for ya! My baby just loves that sciatic nerve. I dont know if you have that, but boy does it hurt! For that, you get on all fours and rock for a minute, that usually makes the baby move off the nerve. As for other pain, try having a hot bath, laying down for a big, or having someone roll a tennis ball all around your back. The best cure, having the baby! lol so im not sure how long you have left, but hang in there and good luck!

To add to what everyone else has said- where a maternity girdle , and make sure you are wearing flat shoes as heals make you tilt forward a bit causing more strain on your lower back.
Best of luck! I resorted to renting a lazyboy with an electric lift on it to help me get up and to sleep in and I'm only 22 1/2 weeks along! The back pain is horrrrrrible!

Depending on how far along you are, it might be "back labor". I had this and thought the pain was just because of all the weight I was carrying around in the front. But it turned out to be labor pains. Some women experience it like this. So my suggestion is to call and ask your doc.

Hot baths, massages, Tylenol, heating pads, and pregnancy approved muscle numbing cream. I had terrible back pain during my pregnancy and i also had sciatica. Exercising just made the pain worse and so did sitting and laying down.
Take it easy and don't do anything that hurts your back.

Hot baths, exercise, massages. There is nothing that can completely make it go away, i mean you have an engorged uterus pressing up agianst it. ::lol:: Just have to deal with it best you can.

Put pillows under your body from your butt to your feet increasing in height as you go down. This helped me.
