Aboslutely! The Moisture Loc by Bosh and Lomb is an excellent solution for keeping your contacts moist. So many things contribute to the moisture content of your contacts; whether or not the wearer is hydrated, what the contacts are made of, if they've ever been out of solution or the eyeball for a period of time, the list is endless really. It may take a few tries to find something that works well for you. I reccomend the Moisture Loc. Good luck!

No, the dryness of contact lenses doesn't have anything to do with the solution used. Contacts just make your eyes and themselves dry. I recommend Opti-Free because it sanitizes and moisturizes at the same time. I use it myself and, although my eyes ARE dry, I can't feel it at all during the day if I put a couple of drops in my eyes in the morning.
Hope I helped!

It's important to make sure you are using the right solution for your contacts. Purchase a "multi-purpose" solution that you can use to store, disinfect, and rinse your lenses with. I recommend Renu (if you hear rumors about it being discontinued, it was only one particular formula) or Complete Moisture Plus by Amo.
Also, rewetting drops formulated for contact lens wear can help with the dryness during the day.
If that doesn't help, ask your optometrist about switching to a lens that allows more oxygen to your eye to improve your comfort.
Good luck, and I hope this helps! :)

You may just want to carry around drops.... but also look at other aspects as well. Is it your eyes themselves, or do you have some allergies that are causing dry eyes, or are you in a position where a heater or vent is blowing on you? Also, you eyes just might need a break, be sure to take your lenses out at night and soak them in a good solution... dont use the cheap brands .. see if it helps. Good luck.

I have 'dry eyes' which get worse if I'm wearing contacts all day, but they are dry even when I wear glasses. I use a eye drop called Systane (found it at Walgreens and Walmart), and I LOVE it. Your contacts might be getting old, I haven't noticed that the type of solution makes a difference.

Yeah. Totally. There isn't a real perfect match for contact moisture. But your best bet would be to match your contact brand to your solution brand. Because they were made by the same manufacturer, they were made to suit each other.
