I allowed my husband to name our daughter and he picked Melissa. It was the most popular name at the time and I had really wished she had been a Cassandra or Alexandria but you know what it was fine. She had a few years there were there were always a few Melissa's in her class but now that she is an adult it doesn't matter. Just pick a name you like and don't worry who else may have that name. Your son will be the only Kaden you care about anyway - best of luck to you -k-

Kaden is not an overused name at this time.
I think of the names you mentioned, Jayden is the only one that is very popular now.
Kaden is a great name!

Way too played out. I've heard it time and again. Its going to be the 2000's version of the 1940's Meradith.
Besides, you don't want kids in school to have easy ammo with the "Kaden is Gayden" routine. In case you have forgotten, YES simple elementary school name calling like this DOES happen, and if you give a kid a name like this it will be annoying for him.

I don't know anyone named Kaden. I know 2 people named Kaydence though.
I gave my son an unusual name, and I'm glad of it. But I wouldn't worry about it. You picked a great name!

You aren't going to change it now are you? My son's name is Caden and he is almost three. I think that Hayden and Jayden are definately used a lot more than Caden. There are a lot of variations of Caden though for girls and boys. I haven't met another Caden yet, but I do hear it mentioned a lot more here recently. It's still a good name!!
