Are you looking to read a guide to something, or to write one?

If you are planning on writing one, then you should flip through each different book and see what fits your personal style. They all have their own flair to them. Then find out their submission guidelines, and if they deal with unagented work or not. Do your research to create the best possible proposal package suited to their specification!

If you need to read one, I have personally been partial to the Idiots Guides. Every one that I've read has been excellently designed and written. They are clear and to the point. Never been disappointed!

Happy reading!

Obviously you have written a non-fiction book. I believe all 3 you mentioned deal with Agents primarily. I would get in touch with a non-fiction agent, make a pitch, and if they accept it, they will sell it to the best possible publisher. Pax - C.
