I'm a Mexican and have to say that I'm really proud of my country. It is full of culture, history, music, good food... The people are generally very kind, there is a sense of solidarity with people when there is an economic breakdown or an earthquake, the value of the family is still very important for us and friendship is one of the most treasured things.

On the down side, we can be hypocritical, we don't know how to say NO, we are very selfish sometimes...

The scenery, the cities, little towns, the beaches, the heritage sites, WOW, they are amazing. Not for nothing that we are the country in whole of AMERICA that has more UNESCO sites and the 4th in the world in biodiversity...

Been here for 4 years (Toluca). Never going back to Gringolandia. Love it here. The people are great. makes me nostalgic for times when I didn't hear a 10 year old kid on the bus (in Chcago) tell his mom to go f*ck herself (really happened). The world that I grew up in was going insane so I left. Besides that, no one is gonna nuke Mexico.

Scenery here is beautiful. I love living in the mountains after 40 years in the flatland.

By the way my friend....

I wouldn't still be living in Mexico for 15 yrs if it wasn't a great place to live & retire. . . . Mexico has some of the most beautiful scenery, Chiapas, the pyrmids on the Yucatan, the playas of Nayarit. the coastline alone Veracruz & the cosmotalitan city of Guadalajara where I presently reside.

Soy estadounidense. I love Mexico and the Mexicans. Haven't been to the beaches yet, only inland. The colonial cities are beautiful.

All good...owned a home for 25 years close to the beach in Baja California. Getting expensive for all of us, but good for the economy. Love my neighbors, cultured, kind, funny. A good place for old folks.

I liked the Mexicans so much I got a Mexican son-in-law and grandkids! lol Seriously, I appreciate how much the Mexican culture has added to the US. A lot of what we think of as cowboy and western is really Mexican.
