i dont know but what i know is that she died in the third movie where kagome kissed inu yasha too (:

First, Kagura does not die in the second movie. Second, The movies are not canon, so they do not have any bearing on the real plot written by Rumiko Takahashi.

Kagura dies in volume 38 of the manga, chapter 374
it is titled "Wind"
