it is a rumor that has become a fact that Abercrombie is a racist store. there have been sues against the stores because they dont let any latinos, colored people, muslims, or anything that is not white. you have to be from America to work there as so the rumors say. There are stores that let other people other than whites work at their stores but very few. You can keep on working there but from my experience one of my hispanic friends completed an application to work there as well as a white girl. my friend had more experience and she did not get choosen and i heard her say that the managers did not even look at her resume because of the fact that she was hispanic. thats just my point of view. you believe what you want to believe

No that store just attracts certain types of people, so those are the people who mostly shop there. But I have yet to see a black person on a poster. I think I read about a lawsuit they had against them that dealt with something like this. I have a black friend who works there and one of my friends who is asian did an ad for them.
Let's just get real though, the clothing there is of poor quality and all those shirts are either see-through or all look alike. So save yourself the trouble of shopping there.

NO. if anyone thinks abercrombie is a racist store then they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. it's the poeple who work there, some are b*tches, and some are very nice. so it's just CHANCE. and nooo, you do not have to be a certain religion, or race to work there, i have seen many different races and known people of many religions who work there. hope this helped :)

No. African Americans and Europeans just have diffrent tastes in fashion. I've seen African Americans wearing Abercrombie before it's just that not a lot of them like that kind of style. Amercrombie does not discriminate against them because of their skin. I've seen African Americans work there before and religion does not matter either. The rumor you heard is definetly NOT true. :]

i heard that too. im not kidding.
i dont shop there and wear what all the others kids wear like those stupid abercrombie shirts or bags. i have my own style and i go at the beat of my drums. stand out from everybody.
anyway. yeah i think it is becasue is a white people store and well....

they way it's "racist" is that if u want to work there u have to be reallyy preppy, a size 0, model-like and u know stuff like tht.

well i know the manager has to send in pictures of it's employees to HQ or somewhere. my asian friend works there and she said they can't dye their hair unnatural colors or be blonde because asians don't have blonde hair. makes it seems kind of racist and they definitely set stereotypes and examples for it's customers to follow.

I dont know. I dont shop there because its a preppy store and I'm not a prep, so I choose not to .
