white women, called, say, Lilly White Woman? one that focused solely on the lifestyles, careers, motherhood, wife-hood, etc as a white woman?
I just dont get why mags like Essence (as good a mag as it is)(to name just 1) totally divides the races. Everyone is always complaining about the lack of equality, and here is 'black' mag
that totally goes in the opposite directions.

There are TONS of magazines that are geared toward white women. If I pick up the average issue of Vogue or Cosmopolitan (just to name 2), I can flip through and not see someone who is the same color as I am. I can flip through and see articles that have little to do with me, my culture, and where I come from.
Essence exists because the average black woman does not frequently see beautiful black women in magazines. The white standard of beauty is NOT the black standard of beauty.
To answer your question, there are quite a few magazines that are just for white women. Just because they don't carry the Lily White title doesn't mean that that's not what they are.

You know I think you could go about making an all white woman magazine but make sure the name doesn't discriminate. For instance, Essence doesn't ostracize any race or say "hey this is only for black women" but if you literally say LILLY WHITE WOMAN I mean there would probably be an issue since you're obviously stating its only for white women. I guess if you truly want to make an all white woman mag just make the content all pertaining to white women and so on but just don't be dumb and make the title something obvious.

Hey, PLAYBOY is diversified! Really! When I was in my teens, they were showing black women, Hispanics, and blondes, even! (I think blondes are from another planet entirely, and oxygen is poisonous to them.) Oh, and even Asian women, as long as they're sexy! Hugh Hefner leads the way!
