white women, called, say, Lilly White Woman? one that focused solely on the lifestyles, careers, motherhood, wife-hood, etc as a white woman?
I just dont get why mags like Essence (as good a mag as it is)(to name just 1) totally divides the races. Everyone is always complaining about the lack of equality, and here is 'black' mag
that totally goes in the opposite directions.

interesting question...I think it would be ok considering there are magazines targeted/made for homosexuals, teens, men, etc. There are black magazines, but they don't necessarily differentiate between black men and black women. I do think there would be protests because why should black women and white women be seperated when we are all equal? I know a lot of people still do not believe in total equality, but why should the career, lifestyle, motherhood, etc. be different between skin colors?

First "Lilly White Woman" sounds like a porno mag. Secondly, magazines get very detailed with their readership. There's a magazine for every lifestyle, city, club and hobby. So are there magazines that are directed at "white women" Check out Martha Stewart Living.

It should be called "Living N igger Free" and have not a single ad in it geared toward porch monkeys, nor a single pic of shitskins (except for those spiritually uplifting lynching pics).

There would be an uproar but I think that's stupid. Most magazines are geared towards a particular race. It's just that they've never admitted it.

ya i think there would be... not that I think its wrong.. its just a double standard....

i always hated that... how there can be a BET (black entrainment television) but YOU KNOW if there was a WET (white entrainment television) people would be protesting at the door.

Yep. There probably would be lots of it, no matter how much people on here deny it.
