I'm 7 months pregnant and have been taking DHA supplements for the past 4 months of my pregnancy. I've heard some good effects such as improved eyesight but if anyone could give me more information of other effects I'd really appreciate it.

DHA is very good for your baby and good for you for taking supplements! It's very commonly found in almost all baby formulas too (DHA & ARA). Its a mjor fatty acid that helps build brain tissue and helps baby to be more alert and attentive the first two years of life.
I have never heard any negative side effects of DHA other then women who eat fish to get it need to limit their intake of possible mercury containing fish. But since you are taking supplements that totally does not apply.

veggies and fruit are very essential. Lots of water. Only devour fish one million - two occasions every week (small quantities). Red meat could also be well... simply ensure it's entirely cooked. It's essential to get all your dialy servings after which a few. Although you're consuming for two, you most effective want three hundred extra calaries in step with day for the baby. Try to steer clear of empty energy... the one factor you get there's additional weight to lose after the little one is born. Just don't forget some thing you devour, your little one eats. Also you'll purchase Flaxseed Oil within the organics discipline of the grocer... very well for you and little one w/ Omega3. I continually had fruit smoothies for breakfast and might upload a little bit of this to it. Fruit Smoothy: Soy Milk, OJ, Frozen strawberries, Frozen Banana, one million Tablespoon of Flaxseed Oil. No have to upload ice... does not anything however dilute it, if you happen to use frozen fruit it makes it thick and bloodless... VERY VERY DELICIOUS For the frozen banana's, purchase recent... peel and wrap each and every in plastic wrap, positioned all is freezer bag and freeze.

I have never heard of any bad effects, but it is really good for brain development especially. It's also good for mood swings in mommies! I love it.
