Do you like Amelia, Amy, Natasha, Jayde, Vanessa, Lexie, or Samantha? Please tell me why? I'm looking for baby names. My sister is expecting a baby girl in August.

I have a Samantha and an Amy! (But we call her Amy Lynne)
Both of my girls love their names.
All of those on your list are good names, but maybe spell Jade correctly.
Remember that the name has to carry the child not only through being a cute little bundle of joy, but also into adulthood. Lexie might be better as Alexis, and nicknamed Lexie. You don't think of doctors or lawyers being called Lexie. Think of her future.
It is so refreshing to see normal, pretty names on here.
Thank you.
Enjoy your new niece in August!

I like Amy best, for no reason other than that it's a cool name. Then Christine. Once again, no particular reason.
I dislike Jayde, because of the y mostly, haha. Weird spellings have an extent of coolness.
Natasha and Vanessa sound a bit pretentious to me.
Lexie, Marie, and Samantha are also pretty good names.
I don't really like the name Amelia, but I don't have a reason why.

Amelia: I do like it. I don't love it but I like it. The style is really in right now. You could always use the nickname Amy.
Amy: This is a nice name. I haven't heard any little girls with the name.
Natasha: I don't care for this name at all. It reminds me of a crazy woman I used to work for that would say all the time, "It's Ah Satan!" because it is Natasha backwards. I couldn't stand her....
Jayde: Great middle name. I like Jayne with a y but I like Jade without.
Vanessa: This is ok. Seems a bit dated. I picture a kid born in the 90's wiht the name Vanessa. I like Tessa a lot.
Lexie: Seems like strictly a nickname. It is okay.
Samantha: Definitely my favorite. I think Samantha is a great name and Sam is an adorable nickname.
Have fun with your new niece! Take Care! SD

ok, I like Natasha and Lexie. They are just kinda different. I don't personally know to me of them. I named my son Nathaniel and if he'd been a girl, I liked Natasha, now I really like Natalia.
Names I really hate are Samantha and Amy. Never liked Samantha or my little girl being called Sam. Amy is a girl that I once babysit for and she was the biggest brat in the world. Never cared for the name since.

I also like~ Natasha, Amelia, Samantha
boring~ Vanessa, Amy
I hate~ Jayde, Maria
Lexie is a cute, pretty name, except she will be called "sexy lexie" which may not thrill you when she's like 14.

I really like Jayde spelt with a y and it's not too common. I find the other names are quite common where I come from. Vanessa isn't too bad either. I think the worst one out of the lot is Amelia.

Love Amelia. It is beautiful. It does not sound like a "made up" name and is quaintly old fashioned.
Don't like:
Amy (dated). Natasha (too russian) Vanessa (Cosby show) Lexie (yuck) Samantha (overused)
Amelia is the best by far!

I like Vanessa Samantha and Lexie because they are cute for a little girl but are also appropriate for as she gets older as well!
