I have an Dell Inspiron B130 with windows vista home basic. My comp does not have the specs to run battlefield but could I use a sandisk 1gb cruzer to ready boost my system and run battlefield

No.
Most people are misinformed about what ReadyBoost does.

ReadyBoost is NOT meant as a substitute for RAM....nor can it be.
All is does is provide faster "hard disk caching" by using the flash drive instead of the hard disk.

If your computer doesn't meet specs, you cannot "cheat" the game to play.
