like me: university student; Brazilian (living in Brazil), 24, Catholic, what else?, crazy for soccer, brunete, nothing but skins and bones, white, future teacher of English/Portuguese and literature, enjou Rush canadian band... and so on.....

Well, you see, this question of yours when asked under the philosophy category implies to those of us who scan this section more than merely supplying ones personal details, although clearly that's all you're after. This bugs me a little since I cannot find any satisfactory explanation as to why such trivia is requested from those whom find interest in more vexing questions, things that truly intrigue, boggles and humble, things with no clear cut answers, no final insights, but passionately explored. Who am I? After you've read this, and seen my pseudonym, I'll be a fragment of your consciousness, a name with a message, a person who took the time to reply to your question and refused to give directly the information requested. Data is meaningless. It communicates nothing about the being (of course I am to a large extend, maybe completely, a product of genetics and circumstance, no use denying the obvious). I could be 18 or 58, a woman or man, ugly or ravishing, you'll probably never know, but this message is a confirmation of there being at least one soul out there that made the effort to reply. Seeing that this message is going no-where you might deduce from this a lonely fellow or desperate dame, in fact, I might be exactly as you imagine me, maybe not. Who am I?

Well, I'll go ahead and share a little bit, what I'm willing to say openly.

I am roughly two months away from my bachelor's degree, having taken a little bit of time between high school and college. I am now 23 years old. In terms of politics, I hold opinions on each topic seperately, and thus I can neither call myself liberal, conservative, nor moderate. I am a straight male, no interesting tales of overcoming adversity there.

Currently, my occupation is writing a thesis and trying to avoid things like being lazy and alcohol. I have truly met worthy foes in those two.
