You shouldn't go into it with the idea that it can be reversed, as less than half of all vasectomy reversals work. Only do it if you are VERY sure you do not want to father any children from now to the end of your life.
It's not temporary birth control. It makes you sterile for good. Reversal is a crap shoot -- the figures I've seen show that about half the men who try reversals get some sperm back, but less than 40% actually get enough sperm action to make a woman pregnant without it being done in a laboratory. But if you have all the kids you can ever imagine wanting, go for it.
It's probably not a great idea if you are not married or in a marriage-grade relationship or if you are married/committed and the woman you are with does not want you to have it done. If you're still uncommitted, it could be a relationship breaker with the woman of your dreams that you haven't met yet. And if your wife or gf wants kids, it's not a decision you should make all by yourself unless you're willing to terminate the relationship if she can't accept it.
But, hey, if you're paying child support to three different women and don't expect to ever settle down, go for it.

What are you asking right here? If a guy needs it then he might desire to be waiting to get it...yet no person might desire to be forcing him into it, not even his spouse/gf. At 18 that is quite youthful to make that determination because of the fact a vasectomy is everlasting and at 18 he might not comprehend whether it needs young toddlers interior the destiny or not. subsequently a large style of docs won't do it on a youthful childless guy. And no it does not take a guy's manhood, despite meaning.

Why not? Millions of men have had them. Myself included. It was a piece of cake.
A vasectomy has no side effects, leaves no scar. It is the most cost effective birth control ever.

Sure, why wouldn't it be? Everything still works, you just can't make babies, and if you change your mind, a vasectomy can be reversed.
