I haven't been in here at all know-it-some, but I can say that when I read the Q, How right you are!
What are they doing in the same place? As they are total opposites and do not go hand in hand!
Wouldn't people be best served if the topics under Fam & Rel were
Family & Relationships
-Family
-Friends
-Marriage & Relationships
-Divorce & Partner Problems
-Singles & Dating
-Weddings
-General Family & Relationships.
Doesn't this sound more practical?
Maybe you should email someone in staff??
Good Luck!

Yes, because there is no "Singles, Dating and Breaking Up" section like they have for "Marriage and Divorce". This gives people the false idea that if you just date, things are good...whereas if you marry you're always one step away from divorce.

You can't get divorced without being married, but you're right it does sound like doom & gloom.

Because 1/2 the questions are "should I stay married or get divorced"
The other half are Disco Stu jokes.

More like Groom & Gloom.
I agree with you, but I think the topics are so closely related, even though they are polar opposites, like Heaven and Hell.

Well, that's the way Yahoo designed it. It's not illogical, though.
